I have no formal art training - I draw and
paint just because I enjoy it. My first recollection
of drawing was copying pictures of birds from
my Grandad's set of encyclopedias at the age
of about 8-10, in the 1950's. I dabbled at it
occasionally in the intervening years, but did
not start to take it at all seriously until
after 2000 and joined Leatherhead Art Club in
2005. I paint and draw in several mediums, predominently
oils, watercolour, coloured pencils and pen
and ink - whatever takes my fancy at the time.
